"As for me and my house, we shall
serve the Lord!"

The Widows Oil....2 Kings 4 1-7 (NIV)

The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead , and you know that he revered the LORD. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.”

Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.” Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons.

Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.” She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.” But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

What a powerful scripture! Ladies, join me in September for a dynamic meeting on how to become a bold and mighty woman of God in your business or career. The Glorious Women meeting will focus on this passage of scripture as we teach you how to hold on to the prophetic word God has given you. Registration will begin soon.

As much as we have faith in the Lord and are witnesses of all the miracles He has done for
us over the years, it is only natural to wonder what is ahead when all seems to be chaotic.
This is not the time to loose hope - we need to rise up and affirm ourselves of all of God's
wonderful and everlasting promises.

It is not over for us - God is still in control and will take care of all our needs.  Place your
trust and confidence in HIM today.  It is time for us to join forces and knit our faith
together for miracles to happen.  The Lord desires for us to sing praises unto him.  Be
encouraged today as you read Psalm 135:1-7

"Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD; praise him, you servants of the LORD,
you who minister in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
For the LORD has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession.
I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. The LORD does
whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.
He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and
brings out the wind from his storehouses."

"And the
Gentiles shall
see thy
righteousness,
and all kings
thy glory: and
thou shalt be
called by a
new name,
which the
mouth of the
LORD shall
name.

Thou shalt
also be a
crown of
glory in the
hand of the
LORD, and a
royal diadem
in the hand of
thy God."
