"As for me and my house, we shall
serve the Lord!"
In Luke 13:6- 9, Jesus told this parable:

"A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did
not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now
I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why
should it use up the soil?'  'Sir,' the man replied, '
leave it alone for one more year, and I'll
dig around it and fertilize it.
If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' "

Ladies, as the year 2010 is upon us, we have another chance to turn our own situations
around when we choose to submit our plans and needs to the Almighty God in the name of
our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let us be very grateful for life and embrace the great people that
God has connected us with.  Be thankful in all things as we reflect on the goodness of the
Lord and His great and mighty power of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is time to re-prioritize and re-position ourselves for greatness.  We must recommit to
the house of the Lord and reflect on how we can serve others.  It is not all about what we
can gain but what we are willing to give to others in secret.

For the next three months, we challenge you to sow an abundance of God's love and
kindness in your Church.  By spring time, we will be amazed by the harvest of growth in
God's house and Kingdom.  Join the Glorious Women Ministries in a movement to sow an
abundance of smiles and greetings in God's house.  Each Sunday, find five people you've
never personally met and make them feel welcomed and loved.  May the Lord Bless you
mightily as you abide in His love and grace.  We are God's glorious women and the secret to
us is the reflection of God's glory on earth.
As much as we have faith in the Lord and are witnesses of all the miracles He has done for
us over the years, it is only natural to wonder what is ahead when all seems to be chaotic.
This is not the time to loose hope - we need to rise up and affirm ourselves of all of God's
wonderful and everlasting promises.

It is not over for us - God is still in control and will take care of all our needs.  Place your
trust and confidence in HIM today.  It is time for us to join forces and knit our faith
together for miracles to happen.  The Lord desires for us to sing praises unto him.  Be
encouraged today as you read Psalm 135:1-7

"Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD; praise him, you servants of the LORD,
you who minister in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
For the LORD has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession.
I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. The LORD does
whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.
He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and
brings out the wind from his storehouses."

"And the
Gentiles shall
see thy
righteousness,
and all kings
thy glory: and
thou shalt be
called by a
new name,
which the
mouth of the
LORD shall
name.

Thou shalt
also be a
crown of
glory in the
hand of the
LORD, and a
royal diadem
in the hand of
thy God."
